Senior Compliance Officer

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Identify compliance matters involving company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Review Cost Control processes, identify non-compliance, and advise on mitigations.
• Investigate compliance issues, irregularities, and violations; communicate findings and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain tracking tools that provide an adequate audit trail for audits and investigations.
• Recommend process and system improvements based on investigations and observations.
• Monitor records and documents for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Follow up on non-compliance recommendations and implementation timelines.
• Update monthly performance scorecards and coordinate compliance training as needed.
• Notify policy custodians of suggested improvements and review draft policies and procedures for compliance weaknesses.
• Keep up to date with regulatory, legislative, policy, and procedure changes that may affect the organization or compliance reviews.

Job requirements

• Relevant working experience in compliance, risk, and/or internal audit.
• Knowledge and experience in relevant processes, fraud, and/or compliance, and understanding of risk and compliance management.
• Knowledge of planning, material master data, material consumption, inventory management, vendor sourcing, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of logistics and warehousing management.
• Knowledge of Primavera and SAP systems, including planning.
• Demonstrated Microsoft Office, presentation, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.
