1. Job Purpose

Responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, design review, and engineering support for Building Management System (BMS) projects. This role ensures that all technical deliverables — including submittals, drawings, and system configurations — comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The Senior Technical Engineer also supports the project and commissioning teams with troubleshooting, system integration, and consultant/client coordination to ensure successful delivery and handover.

2. Key Responsibilities

Ø Review IFC drawings, tender documents, and project specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Ø Prepare and validate technical submittals, compliance statements, and shop drawings.

Ø Develop system architecture diagrams, schematics, and integration plans for BMS.

Ø Provide value engineering options to optimize design and cost while meeting project requirements.

Ø Provide technical support to project managers, site engineers, and commissioning teams.

Ø Assist in troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth execution.

Ø Coordinate with installation teams to verify correct implementation of technical designs.

Ø Ensure technical documentation is properly maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Ø Act as a technical liaison with consultants and clients to address queries and comments.

Ø Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure alignment with stakeholders.

Ø Review consultant feedback and prepare professional responses with supporting documentation.

Ø Support the commissioning team in validating system performance and sequences of operation.

Ø Ensure BMS systems, controllers, and field devices function as per design intent.

Ø Review and approve commissioning reports, test sheets, and handover documents.

Ø Ensure technical deliverables comply with international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, BS, etc.) and manufacturer recommendations.

Ø Contribute to QA/QC processes by reviewing drawings, submittals, and technical documents.

Ø Identify risks and propose corrective actions during project execution.

Ø Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to strengthen team capability.

Ø Share lessons learned and best practices to continuously improve technical standards.
Requirements:

Year of experience required: 4/5 years+ in UAE
Education Required: Bachelor of Engineering
Total minimum number of experiences required: 4/5 years +
Skills Required: hands on experience in BMS projects execution & commissioning
Driving License: YES

Preferred:

Honeywell Centraline experience is preferred.
