Role Overview The Clinical Solutions Executive (CSE) will support Cepheid Saudi Arabia in achieving commercial goals and help customers fully understand and utilize the clinical benefits and impact of Cepheid technology and products.
The CSE will work directly with distributor sales teams and Cepheid business units to develop pre- and post-sales strategies, support newly launched products, and boost Cepheid assay utilization among new and existing customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Execute company strategies efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct educational and training activities for clinicians, infection control teams, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinical staff on the clinical impact of Cepheid products.
- Build and maintain a strong network with clinicians and Heads of Departments (HODs) (e.g., ICU, Infection Control, ID, ED, OB/GYN, Oncology), cultivating key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers in healthcare institutions.
- Maintain and update the Cepheid customer database; support current customers while identifying opportunities to expand.
- Generate business opportunities with new and existing customers by creating qualified leads.
- Support Cepheid product launches in the field and at trade shows/conferences.
- Collaborate with KOLs to formulate clinical case studies.
- Assist Laboratory Departments in implementing Cepheid technology within their facilities.
- Conduct Cepheid technology demonstrations, product evaluations, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Train channel partners’ field teams on Sales and Marketing tools to effectively promote and strategically position Cepheid products.
- Stay updated on the latest clinical data from Cepheid and share insights during congresses, exhibitions, and meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of international (WHO, GLI, CDC, NHS) and regional/national guidelines and protocols, anticipating potential business impacts and adapting strategies accordingly.
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical (Physician, Clinical Pharmacist, Clinical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Infectious Diseases) with 4+ years of experience.
- Master’s degree with 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent Quality improvement Project Management.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the Saudi healthcare market.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Infectious Diseases, Hematology/Oncology knowledge.
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong selling and negotiation capabilities.
- Clinical and lab experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (French is a plus)
