Senior Civil Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities and manage pipeline and railway infrastructure works.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction documents before execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, clients, railway authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, schedules, quality, safety, materials, workmanship, and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare site reports, progress reports, measurement records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate measurements and support billing and certification activities.
• Identify delays, technical issues, and construction risks and report them to the Project Manager.
• Assist with planning, project meetings, technical updates, testing, inspection, completion, and handover.

Required Qualifications

• BE or B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in civil construction is required.
• At least five years of experience in pipeline and/or railway infrastructure projects is required.
• Applicants must understand civil construction practices, site execution, measurements, and quality control.
• Applicants must be able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Good project documentation, site reporting, coordination, and communication skills are required.
• Applicants must be willing to travel or relocate based on project requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Pipeline construction experience is preferred.
• Railway infrastructure and large-scale infrastructure project experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, QA/QC procedures, and construction standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with MS Office and experience coordinating with authorities and project partners are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹30,000 to ₹70,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person at project sites.
