Reporting and analytics
- Produces reporting packages, dashboards, and scorecards for product design, customer engagement, account management, and business decisions.
- Creates interactive visualizations, tools, layouts, and templates; combines data infrastructure, local data marts, and external sources into visual stories.
- Validates data quality and integrity and develops commentary and insights for reporting packages.
- Partners with business stakeholders to understand objectives, deliver value-added reporting, and provide ad hoc data extracts.
- Evolves reporting automation and visualization standards and proposes data presentations for changing business needs.
- Conducts analysis, research, and performance assessments; draws conclusions and makes recommendations.
Risk, collaboration, and leadership
- Supports enterprise frameworks, confidentiality, compliance, risk management, governance, and remediation activities.
- Leads or contributes to initiatives aligned with business strategy and continuous process improvement.
- Shares subject matter expertise, mentors colleagues, supports knowledge transfer, and maintains stakeholder relationships.
Experience and education
- Requires 3+ years of relevant experience; higher-degree education and research tenure may count.
- An undergraduate or advanced technical degree in a relevant field is preferred; a graduate degree is also preferred.
- Requires advanced knowledge of BI and reporting platforms and expert knowledge of the business unit's main data sources.
- Requires experience delivering specialized data visualizations, especially with Power BI.
Pay
- Pay range is $81,600–$115,200 CAD; compensation varies based on skills, experience, knowledge, location, and business needs.
