Senior Business Development Manager – Open Banking (United Arab Emirates)

  • They provide data aggregation and payment initiation capabilities via modern APIs, helping customers launch new digital products, streamline onboarding, and improve risk decisioning.
  • With strong backing from top‑tier investors and a rapidly expanding customer base across financial services, the company is now scaling its commercial team to capture the next wave of open banking and open finance growth in the region.
  • The opportunity
  • As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, closing, and growing strategic commercial relationships with banks, credit unions, lenders, and fintechs.
  • You will operate at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and product, helping clients understand how open banking APIs can unlock new revenue streams, improve customer experiences, and address emerging regulatory expectations.
  • This is a high‑visibility role with direct impact on ARR and market position, suitable for a senior BD / sales professional who wants to own deals end‑to‑end and help shape the company’s go‑to‑market strategy.
  • What we’re looking for
  • 3+ years in business development / enterprise sales within fintech, payments, banking technology, data or API‑driven SaaS.
  • Proven track record of originating and closing complex B2B deals with financial institutions (banks, credit unions, lenders, card issuers, or major fintechs).
  • Strong understanding of at least one of:
  • Open banking / data aggregation / payment initiation
  • Digital banking, lending, or core banking systems
  • Financial data, risk, or analytics platforms
  • Ability to shape value propositions around APIs, security, compliance, and ROI for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable selling into C‑level and leadership teams, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, commercial terms.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, growth‑stage environments where you build structure, not just operate within it.

Salary And Comms

  • Up to AED 40,000 - AED 45,000 per month + uncapped comms
  • Package includes base + commission, stock options, health/medical coverage, and remote‑friendly perks. Final offer depends on experience, track record and location.
