Role Overview
Experienced data analyst or business data analyst role supporting SAP and non-SAP data environments, data modelling, data quality, and cloud data platforms.
Partners with business, IT, functional, technical, and data engineering teams to deliver high-quality data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data engineers.
- Define and validate data quality standards across ETL processes, systems, and data products.
- Analyze SAP and non-SAP datasets for modelling, transformation, and analytics requirements.
- Develop and validate data mappings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality.
- Develop cloud-based data collection, transformation, and automation workflows.
- Create and support dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Mentor junior analysts and improve data governance, quality, and analytics practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional data analysis or business analysis experience.
- Expertise in SAP and non-SAP data environments.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data mapping, ETL processes, and data quality.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
- Exposure to Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Good to Have
- Exposure to machine learning, AI, and advanced predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud data platforms and modern data architecture.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata, and data standards.
- Experience validating data products against governance, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Manufacturing-industry, SAP data, business-process, or manufacturing-dataset experience.
