Senior Business Analyst, Trade Finance Operations, in TD Securities Global Operations.
The role analyzes operational and service issues, delivers projects, and improves policies, processes, products, and service quality through analytics and implementation.
Accountabilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on Trade Finance Systems and processes.
- Document requirements, change plans, design documents, process analyses, and detailed use cases.
- Work with development teams on requirement transfer and provide support during coding as needed.
- Help define test strategy and lead test planning, test scripting, and execution with operations teams.
- Support corrective actions for process and control deficiencies, audit and regulatory matters, and operational risks.
- Handle high-risk issues and provide contextualized analytics insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Strong end-to-end knowledge of documentary letters of credit, documentary collections, guarantees, and standby letters of credit.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, international business, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum, user stories, backlog management, and manual and automated testing.
- Ability to document requirements, design use cases, develop test scripts, interpret data, and create dashboards.
- Risk and control focus, accountability, analytical and problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration, presentation, listening, conflict resolution, and mediation skills; clear English communication.
- Project management and system implementation knowledge are assets. Advanced knowledge of UiPath, Alteryx, Python, AI, robotics, RPA, or Tableau is an asset.
