About The Role
We are looking for blockchain developers and Rust developers to come and build the Mintlayer core node.
We are writing the chain from scratch, so we have a lot of interesting technical issues to solve.
Core working hours are 10am–1pm CET.
Responsibilities
- Develop software in Rust for the core node
- Write tests and develop the test framework in both Rust and Python
- Help design and plan the architecture of the core node
- Fix bugs and security issues
- Work with other internal teams to integrate the core node into their products
- Mentor less experienced developers
Requirements
- Experience with a low-level language (C, C++, Rust)
- At least 2 years development experience with a minimum of 1 year blockchain experience, or 5 years with no previous blockchain experience
- Great written and spoken English
- Understanding of security issues and best practices
- You can read, understand and implement an RFC or specification
