Senior management role overseeing architectural BIM operations and deliverables in Dubai.
The employer is seeking a senior architectural BIM manager, not a BIM modeler or BIM coordinator.
Strict requirements
- Architecture degree with a strong architectural design and BIM background.
- At least 10 years of BIM experience exclusively within Dubai engineering consultancy firms.
- Expert knowledge of Dubai authority regulations and submission procedures, including Dubai Municipality (DM), DDA, Trakhees, and relevant developer requirements as applicable.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Proven expertise in BIM Execution Plans, LOD/LOI, model auditing, BIM standards, and QA/QC.
- Extensive multidisciplinary coordination experience across architecture, structure, and MEP, including clash detection and resolution.
- Ability to lead, supervise, and develop junior BIM teams independently.
- Hands-on experience reviewing authority submission packages and resolving technical compliance issues.
- Dubai-based candidates and immediate availability are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Manage architectural BIM operations and deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable Dubai authority regulations.
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
- Review models, drawings, and submissions before issuance.
- Manage BIM workflows, quality control, deadlines, and junior staff.
