Job Description Senior BIM Coordinator (Civil 3D Specialist) Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM Coordinator (Civil 3D Specialist) to join our team! In this role you will get the key responsibility to support our Project Delivery Design Teams to execute the day-to-day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in our main office in Abu Dhabi.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
• Measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with Project standards and requirements.
• Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
• Develop and maintain BIM Civil 3D libraries, continually advancing the platforms’ efficiency and utilization
• Support the deployment (hardware and software items) and provide hands-on BIM software training for Project team members.
• Supervise the BIM modelers, collaborate and coordinate with the Design Team design-changes and model challenges.
• Develop and extract 2D geometry from the models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
• Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 9 years of demonstrable experience of BIM design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably wet and dry utilities projects.
• Experience in consultant and infrastructure projects.
• In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ACC and Revit.
• Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, Navisworks.
• Experience with BIM instruction and trainings.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Fluent t in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
• Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential
