Senior BIM / CAD Technician Qatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM / CAD Technician to join our team!
In this role, you will support multidisciplinary design and coordination activities across Civil, Architectural, MEP, Roads & Highways, and Utilities disciplines, using BIM and CAD tools to develop, manage, and coordinate design and as-built information for large-scale infrastructure projects.
What You ll Be Doing
- Using AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, and Navisworks to develop and manage BIM models and CAD drawings.
- Preparing concept designs and layouts for Civil, Architectural, MEP, Roads & Highways, and Utilities disciplines.
- Managing BIM models, documents, and data submittals, and extracting CAD drawings and required information (e.g., spreadsheets with quantities of design and as-built elements).
- Supporting the preparation of conceptual designs using 3D and CAD drafting tools, including gathering and integrating all relevant utilities data.
- Preparing clash detection reports and reviewing coordination and interfaces between Civil, Architectural, MEP, Roads & Highways, and Utilities disciplines.
- Supporting site teams to validate or collect information needed to update as-builts, CAD drawings, and BIM models as required.
