Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with established safety and health protocols, implementing workplace safety initiatives, conducting safety training programs, and managing EHS policies.
The role will involve identifying potential hazards, developing solutions to mitigate risks, and collaborating with stakeholders to foster a safe and healthy work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations
- Experience in Workplace Safety and implementing safety protocols
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
