Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior BIM Architect to lead the development, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for architectural and construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing BIM standards, coordinating multidisciplinary models, ensuring design quality, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction and handover stages.
The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural expertise, advanced BIM capabilities, and extensive experience in managing complex construction projects within the UAE/GCC market.
Bim Leadership & Management
- Lead the architectural BIM team and oversee BIM deliverables across multiple projects.
- Establish and implement BIM standards, workflows, templates, and quality control procedures.
- Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific BIM requirements.
- Monitor model quality, compliance, and project BIM performance.
Design & Technical Coordination
- Develop and review architectural BIM models from concept design through construction documentation.
- Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, and specialist consultant models.
- Conduct clash detection, model audits, and design reviews to identify and resolve coordination issues.
- Ensure construction documentation and BIM deliverables comply with project requirements and authority regulations.
- Review and approve shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built models.
Construction Support
- Provide BIM and technical support to site teams during construction.
- Assist in resolving design and coordination issues arising during project execution.
- Ensure accurate incorporation of site changes and project revisions into BIM models.
- Support project planning, quantity take-offs, and construction sequencing through BIM methodologies.
Team Development
- Mentor and train BIM Architects, BIM Coordinators, and Junior Architects.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on BIM best practices.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the BIM department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- Master's degree in architecture, BIM Management, or Construction Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years of architectural experience with at least 5 years in a senior BIM role.
- Strong experience in large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, healthcare, and high-rise projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.
