Role overview

Strategic technical role shaping how the company designs, delivers, and scales secure cloud solutions across enterprise and government environments.

Translates complex business, technical, security, and operational requirements into scalable, secure, well-governed cloud architectures.

Works with management, infrastructure and security teams, software development, project management, presales, Microsoft, and technology partners.

Architecture and delivery

Design secure, scalable, well-governed Azure solutions for enterprise and government clients.
Establish Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, subscription structures, policies, RBAC, and environment standards.
Design identity, access, networking, and connectivity architectures with security, resilience, auditability, and compliance.
Lead or support Azure deployments using Infrastructure as Code and controlled DevOps practices.
Define requirements for monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, resilience, and operational readiness.
Support architecture decisions for applications, integrations, data, analytics, and AI workloads where applicable.
Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, RFP/RFI reviews, architecture discussions, and solution positioning.
Review deliverables, identify risks, and ensure architecture and production readiness.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to strengthen internal Azure capabilities.

Experience and qualifications

5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure architecture and implementation experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience designing secure, scalable, well-governed Azure environments; enterprise or government client experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Azure governance, security, identity, networking, resilience, and operational readiness.
Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, architecture documentation, technical standards, implementation guidance, and operational handover.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Client-facing workshops, architecture discussions, RFP/RFI reviews, and solution positioning experience is highly valuable.
Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are an advantage.
