Hands-on technical role combining GIS engineering, software development, system integration, and client-facing consultancy.
Designs geospatial applications, enterprise platforms, spatial databases, and interactive mapping solutions for client needs.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise GIS solutions using Esri and non-Esri technologies.
- Build and support web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications, dashboards, and geoprocessing tools.
- Develop spatial databases, geospatial services, APIs, and integrations; perform spatial analysis, transformation, validation, and quality assurance.
- Integrate GIS with ERP, CRM, asset management, and business intelligence systems.
- Lead implementation from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment and support.
- Prepare technical proposals, architectures, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Consult with clients through workshops, presentations, and training; troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
Candidate qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Geospatial Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with Esri and open-source GIS technologies; strong knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Server, and Online.
- Experience with QGIS, GeoServer, PostGIS, and OpenLayers or Leaflet.
- Proficiency in Python, ArcPy, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and geospatial data formats.
- Experience with spatial databases, GIS application development, integration, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and client consultation skills; professional English proficiency.
- Arabic-English bilingual capability is highly preferred.
- Qatar or GCC experience in government, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, or smart-city projects is an advantage.
