Undertake reviews to assess controls, systems, processes, and procedures and identify areas of concern.
Help improve risk management, control, and operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with review planning and agree terms of reference to meet objectives and allocated timelines.
- Draft issues and findings for review and provide findings and improvement recommendations to business management.
- Discuss current and future issues with stakeholders and team members and feed identified risks into planning.
- Follow up on outstanding review issues and confirm resolution.
- Support management in taking corrective action to protect the bank.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Recommend improvements to policies, systems, processes, and working practices.
Education and experience
- At least 2 years of experience in external or internal audit.
- Good understanding of banking concepts and procedures.
