Job Summary

Audit Engagement Leadership

• Lead and oversee the planning, execution, completion, and reporting of external audit engagements across diverse industries.
• Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA, IPSAS and applicable UAE regulations.
• Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, materiality calculations, and engagement deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters.
• Monitor engagement budgets, profitability, timelines, and resource allocation.

Technical & Reporting Excellence

• Review audit reports, audit working file, management letters, and presentations for senior management and boards.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and compliance with firm methodologies and quality standards.
• Oversee audits involving consolidations, complex estimates, financial instruments, and group reporting.
• Drive the adoption of data analytics and technology-enabled audit procedures.

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, coach, and mentor audit teams, including Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support career development initiatives.

Client Relationship & Business Development

• Manage key client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and support proposal preparation and business development activities.
• Contribute to client retention and growth strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA or CA certification is mandatory.
• minimum 15+ years of external audit experience.
• Experience managing audit portfolios and leading teams within a public accounting firm.
• Experience with listed entities and regulated sectors (UAE Central Bank, SCA, DFSA, ADGM) is advantageous.
