Senior Architect (Site Supervision)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage design scope and schedule in line with project objectives, requirements, and standards.
• Integrate design packages across disciplines and champion Safety in Design.
• Deliver architectural design from concept to completion across diverse asset typologies.
• Prepare drawings, presentations, and comprehensive design documentation through detailed design.
• Supervise design production stages and lead qualitative reviews with recommendations to executive management.
• Oversee department architects, designers, managers, and professionals; lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop and review asset briefs, manuals, standard documents, schedules, sample boards, sourcing, and mock-ups.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, project teams, and departments; track Capex documentation.
• Monitor technical compliance in design and construction and resolve design issues within budget and design approach.

Knowledge and experience

• 13+ years of architectural design and management experience post-undergraduate.
• Experience managing international design consultants across sectors and typologies.
• Experience in residential, commercial, public, healthcare, and educational design.
• Construction experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering large, complex programs focused on quality and innovation.
• Knowledge of financial and commercial project management, risk, scope, international standards, statutory requirements, and sustainable design.

Education and certifications

• B.Arch or B.Sc. in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate degree in Architecture or Urban Design.
• International accreditation such as RIBA, AIA, or equivalent.
• Sustainability certifications such as LEED, PQP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Skills

• Strong conceptual and aesthetic design skills.
• Fluent English and strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Suite; Grasshopper and V-Ray are a plus.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong organization, deadline management, collaboration, and self-motivation.
