Senior Architect / Site Architect

About the role

Site and technical delivery

• Manage and supervise architectural and interior fit-out works on site and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and prepare architectural, shop, detailed, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate technical requirements with design, civil, MEP, joinery, marble, flooring, ceiling, lighting, and other site teams.
• Inspect workmanship, materials, dimensions, finishes, and installation quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Check site measurements and ensure drawings are accurately implemented.
• Coordinate with consultants to obtain technical clarifications and approvals.
• Monitor progress and report issues, delays, and requirements to the Project Manager.
• Ensure approved materials, finishes, and design intent are followed; assist with selections, mock-ups, samples, and finish approvals.
• Coordinate joinery, marble, flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and architectural details.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records, snagging lists, and progress updates; complete snagging and coordinate inspections and handovers.
• Support the Project Manager in maintaining schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, interior fit-out, or design-and-build projects.
• Proven luxury residential project experience is required; experience with high-end villas, luxury apartments, penthouses, or premium residential interiors is highly preferred.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• High-end joinery, custom detailing, marble and stone works, bespoke finishes, premium hospitality projects, and client-facing coordination are listed as preferred experience.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and architectural detailing, site supervision, project coordination, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is advantageous.
• Ability to read, understand, review, and prepare technical and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of joinery, marble, flooring, ceilings, lighting, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, and other interior finishes.
• Strong communication, coordination, attention to detail, and commitment to quality; able to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure.
• A valid UAE driving license is required; knowledge of Dubai authority requirements and approvals is advantageous.

Pay

• Pay is AED 8,000–9,000 per month.
