Lead architectural solutions supporting the center's research and operational needs.
This is a part-time hybrid role in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with on-site work and the possibility of working from home.
Responsibilities
- Define system and solution architectures and coordinate software development and integration.
- Align technical designs with research workflows and organizational goals.
- Work with researchers, administrators, and technical teams to translate pedagogical and research needs into robust, scalable designs.
- Oversee timelines, manage technical risks, document architectural decisions, and guide best practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong architecture and architectural design skills, including scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
- Software development skills, including modern frameworks and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Integration experience connecting systems, data sources, and applications.
- Project management skills in planning, coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Research, education, or public-sector experience and familiarity with data governance and security standards are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, written and verbal English communication, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
- Ability to manage priorities independently in a hybrid setting while collaborating with on-site stakeholders.
