Role Overview
The Senior Applications Engineer will oversee enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance, integration, and alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, custom apps)
- Gather and analyze business requirements
- Coordinate application enhancements and upgrades
- Ensure system integration across platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues (L2/L3 support)
- Work closely with vendors and developers
- Maintain documentation and user training materials
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in application support/management
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and databases
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Certifications (Preferred)
- ERP-related certifications (Odoo, SAP, Oracle)
- ITIL Foundation
Soft Skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High accountability and ownership
- Ability to manage vendors and third-party providers
- Business-oriented mindset with technical depth
- Keeps up to date with application and digital transformation trends
