Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with backend teams to ship new features and maintain existing applications.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and fix bugs and improve application efficiency.
- Mentor junior developers and share development best practices.
- Stay updated with Android trends, tools, and best practices.
- Manage planning, testing, deployment, and post-launch support across the application lifecycle.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and support Google Play guideline compliance.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin and a deep understanding of the Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Experience with Android frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading projects or mentoring junior team members is preferred.
- Performance and memory tuning tools experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, third-party libraries, and APIs is advantageous.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and device-specific interface optimization is advantageous.
