Tarento seeks an Integration Architect to lead enterprise connectivity strategy and coordinate complex SAP and third-party system landscapes.
The role focuses on SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, cloud and legacy applications, and reliable enterprise data flows.
Architecture and roadmap
- Create scalable integration blueprints using SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and event-driven architectures.
- Define the long-term integration roadmap, including legacy PI/PO decommissioning and migration to modern BTP-based solutions.
- Establish global integration standards, naming conventions, error-handling frameworks, and security protocols.
Leadership and operations
- Lead the integration team through project lifecycles, conduct high-level code reviews, and mentor developers.
- Partner with business process owners and C-suite leaders to translate objectives into technical requirements and integration strategies.
- Manage performance tuning, security audits, and proactive monitoring of high-volume interfaces to support 99.9% availability.
- Manage client expectations, lead functional workshops, and deliver high-stakes integration projects.
Technical qualifications
- Deep expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Integration Assessment.
- Extensive SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or IBP integration experience with third-party systems using REST, OData, SOAP, IDoc, and SFTP.
- Expertise migrating SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP, including dual-stack to single-stack migration strategies.
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Java, and XSLT for message transformations and custom adapter development.
- Strong grasp of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS, PGP, and digital certificates in a multi-tenant cloud environment.
- Hands-on experience with TMS, Cloud ALM, and CI/CD pipeline automation for integration content.
Education and experience
- 10+ years of cumulative SAP integration technology experience, including at least 6+ years in cloud-based middleware architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
