Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with backend teams to deliver new features and maintain existing applications.
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and fix bugs and improve application efficiency.
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
- Stay current with Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
- Manage planning, testing, deployment, and post-launch support across the app lifecycle.
- Implement security measures to protect user data and comply with Google Play guidelines.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of professional Android development experience.
- Java and Kotlin proficiency with strong Android SDK and Android Studio knowledge.
- Experience with Android frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Git or similar version control proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with performance or memory tuning tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, third-party libraries, and APIs.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and device-specific interface optimization.
- Project leadership or junior developer mentoring experience is preferred.
