Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create scalable integration blueprints using SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and event-driven architectures.
• Define the roadmap, including legacy middleware decommissioning and migration to BTP-based solutions.
• Establish integration standards, naming conventions, error-handling frameworks, and security protocols.
• Lead project teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.
• Translate organizational objectives into technical requirements with business owners and C-suite leaders.
• Manage tuning, security audits, and monitoring to support 99.9% interface availability.

Required skills and qualifications

• Deep expertise in SAP CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and Integration Assessment.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA and SAP applications with third parties using REST, OData, SOAP, IDoc, and SFTP.
• Expertise migrating SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP, including dual-stack to single-stack strategies.
• Proficiency in Groovy, Java, and XSLT; strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS, PGP, and digital certificates.
• Hands-on TMS, Cloud ALM, and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• 10+ years in SAP integration, including 6+ years in cloud middleware architecture.
• Experience managing clients, leading workshops, and delivering high-stakes integration projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
