This is a full-time hybrid Senior Analytics Engineering Analyst role in Brentwood, Tennessee.
What you will do
- Lead scalable data-model design and implementation following team standards.
- Write advanced SQL and develop dbt models, tests, and transformations.
- Improve BI modeling and semantic-layer development.
- Apply clean, efficient, well-documented programming practices.
- Maintain model documentation and READMEs with assumptions, caveats, and logic.
- Lead data-quality checks, validation, and issue resolution.
- Improve data lineage, cataloging, and metadata standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to map metrics and requirements to business questions.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and review work for standards adherence.
- Use Git for code management and collaborative development.
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in analytics, BI, or data modeling.
- Experience building data models and transformations with SQL and dbt.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong understanding of BI modeling and semantic-layer design.
- Experience with cloud data platforms including Databricks and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data quality, validation, and data governance.
- Healthcare data experience is preferred.
