Role overview

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, review, and operate complex financial models; conduct financial analysis and quality reviews.
• Explain financial models and analysis to internal stakeholders and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Support bank relationships and treasury operations, including guarantee instruments and cash and liquidity management.
• Support financial risk management, training, knowledge transfer, and continuous professional development.
• Manage service-level providers to ensure quality and timely services under relevant agreements.
• Manage key relationships and negotiations as assigned to secure favorable agreements and meet business needs.
• Improve and implement unit systems, policies, and procedures to meet relevant procedural, legislative, and strategic requirements.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• MBA or relevant master's degree from a top-tier internationally recognized institution is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, STEM, or related field is preferred; GPA of 3.5 or equivalent is preferred.
• 3–5 years of financial modeling and/or project financing experience at an investment bank, advisory firm, developer, or financial sponsor is preferred.
• Experience in global power and renewable energy sectors is strongly preferred.

Job-specific skills

• Ability to lead complex financial modeling, valuation, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of corporate and structured finance, trade finance, and debt capital markets instruments.
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and present financial solutions; understanding of local and global financial markets and economics.
• Knowledge of Masdar’s business operations and assets.
