Senior Analyst, Strategy

Pay and rewards

• The posted pay range is $80,000–$100,000 and represents base salary only.
• Additional rewards may include semi-annual performance bonuses, a deferred profit-sharing program, paid benefits, a Home Depot stock purchase discount, and merit-based increases.

Position summary

Key responsibilities

• Analyze macroeconomic indicators, market dynamics, and consumer trends for retail sales, demand, and long-term forecasting.
• Synthesize datasets, competitive intelligence, and quantitative models into strategic insights and predictive scenarios.
• Develop scenario models, opportunity-sizing assessments, and ROI analyses; assess capital allocation proposals and financial trade-offs.
• Draft executive presentations, one-pagers, visual storylines, meeting materials, and strategic updates.
• Track workstream timelines and action items; coordinate data gathering and project execution with business partners.

Experience and qualifications

• 1–3 years of progressive experience in consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, enterprise business analytics, professional services, or strategic planning/analytics in a large matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong quantitative capability in data synthesis, financial analysis, predictive/scenario modeling, and structured problem-solving.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Miro, or Airtable experience is an asset.
• Self-starting, detail-oriented, organized, intellectually curious, and customer-focused; able to communicate clearly with project teams and business leaders.

Work arrangement
