Role Overview

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Management from a reputed institute.
• 2+ years of relevant CFR experience in analytical or modelling skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages such as Python, Hive, and PySpark.
• Strong coding skills and hands-on experience with advanced machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud for model training.
• Experience handling large datasets and implementing data preprocessing techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to provide insight and accurate judgment when resolving business challenges and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of American Express platforms is preferred.
• Experience building and deploying models is preferred.
• Experience working with agents and associated risks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and implement machine-learning models for fraud risk decision science.
• Apply analytical and modelling skills to fraud, payments, and agentic risk decision science problems.
• Train models using cloud computing platforms.
• Work with large datasets and implement data preprocessing techniques.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide insights and sound judgment to resolve business challenges and opportunities.
