Role and team

Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics, on Jobber's Analytics team within its Strategy & Analytics organization.

Own analytical workstreams across cross-functional initiatives supporting strategic and operational decisions.

The Strategic Analytics team combines analytical thinking, business context, and data to address company questions and improve outcomes.

What you will do

  • Define analytical questions and approaches with stakeholders, then independently carry analyses from exploration to recommendations.
  • Use data and business context to surface opportunities, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical next steps.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis and deep dives to identify performance trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers.
  • Apply segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact measurement, and experimentation to inform decisions.
  • Evaluate the expected or realized impact of initiatives and business changes, identifying what is working and where to iterate.
  • Develop metrics, reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools for scalable performance monitoring.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations with relevant assumptions, limitations, and business context.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to improve analysis, quality assurance, documentation, and communication; validate outputs and remain accountable.
  • Collaborate across Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and other teams to support quality and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience with complex relational data.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including exploratory analysis, performance measurement, and custom analytics.
  • Experience with segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact evaluation, or experimentation.
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach; ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools responsibly and validating their outputs.
  • Experience with Python is an asset; SaaS, subscription business, or cross-functional business analytics experience is a plus.
  • Contribute to analytical quality through peer review, knowledge sharing, and improving team practices.

Location

  • Candidates must be based in one of Jobber's hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.
  • The company values in-person collaboration at times; no specific regular office schedule or remote-work policy is stated.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range is CAD 106,590 minimum, CAD 125,400 midpoint, and CAD 144,210 maximum.

Benefits

  • Compensation package includes extended health benefits with paid premiums, RRSP, TFSA or FHSA matching, and stock options.
  • Talent development, coaching, learning, and leadership programs are available.
