Senior Analyst, Analytics Engineer

Role Summary

Analytics Development

• Collaborate with partners to gather needs and produce compliant, sustainable analytics products.
• Build visualizations using Sigma or Domo.
• Develop consumption layers with Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL for business reporting.
• Follow the medallion architecture framework to maintain high-quality data progression.
• Deploy pipelines aligned with enterprise-wide best practices and standards.

Process and Collaboration

• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline analytics delivery workflows.
• Evaluate modern and emerging technologies for analytics engineering.
• Translate high-level business data strategies into actionable analytics execution.
• Assist with technical hurdles related to data access and reporting.
• Build relationships across technical and business units.

Governance and Standards

• Review peer code and enforce engineering best practices across projects.
• Maintain compliance with enterprise policies and data governance standards.
• Document and maintain critical components within the data ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a related role.
• At least 2 years of experience collaborating with business teams and translating requirements into analytics solutions.
• Experience developing in Python and SQL.
• Experience developing visualizations in Sigma, Tableau, Domo, or a similar tool.
• Experience interacting with databases and SQL.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, or another version-controlled code management tool.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt and Snowflake is optional.
• Experience with application-status monitoring and FinOps tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with software-automation production systems such as GitHub Actions or Selenium is preferred.
• Familiarity with code deployment tools is preferred.
