Senior Analyst, Advanced Business Analytics

The Opportunity

The Work Itself

• Independently interface with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate analysis supporting business objectives.
• Perform analysis to drive business change and identify risk/reward trade-offs in recommendations.
• Develop strategy and associated performance analysis to achieve business objectives.
• Support strategy tests and current operations with analytical and data support.
• Lead technically sophisticated analytics projects and navigate ambiguity.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and provide results and recommendations quickly.
• Mentor developing analytics professionals and connect with analytics teams to build capability.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant analytics experience in banking and/or financial services.
• Degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, analytics, applied statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of analytics experience and banking, financial services, and/or analytics experience.
• Independent thought and work, business acumen, and knowledge of financial statements and concepts.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and becoming a recognized expert in an area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of processes, systems, and technology used to coordinate implementation of change.
• Intermediate technical skills with Excel and/or analysis software.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks across long-term projects and ad hoc analysis while communicating with stakeholders.
• Ability to craft data-driven strategic recommendations and tailor messaging for different audiences.

Work Schedule

Compensation

• Base pay range is $85,000 to $150,000 yearly.
• The position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan.
• Compensation may also include performance incentives and other role-dependent programs.
