Overview

Job Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
• Handle bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Manage budgeting, financial analysis, and audits.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and reports.

Government Relations

• Liaise with government departments such as immigration, labor, and municipal authorities for permits, visas, and labor-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all government regulations and policies.
• Handle official correspondence with ministries, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.

Visa and Labor Processing

• Manage employee visas, work permits, and residency documentation.
• Handle renewals, cancellations, and amendments of employee visas.
• Assist employees with family visa applications when required.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure company compliance with local laws and regulations, including trade license renewals and company registration requirements.
• Process and monitor renewals of company documents, insurance policies, and related legal documentation.

Experience

• Accounting: Minimum 7 years preferred
• PRO/Government Relations: Minimum 7 years preferred

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in UAE VAT, payroll, budgeting, and bank reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Ability to prepare financial statements and management reports
• Good understanding of UAE labor, immigration, and company licensing procedures
• Experience handling visa processing, Emirates ID, labor cards, medical, and government transactions
• Familiarity with portals such as MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, Dubai Economy, and free zone authorities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
