Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Accountant Financial Reporting (Emirati Only) at Dubai Holding Group Services.
In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- **Ensure Statutory Compliance:**
- Deliver accurate and timely statutory and regulatory reporting in line with IFRS standards (including IFRS 7, 9, 13, 15, and 16) and internal governance protocols.
- **Financial Reporting & Analysis:**
- Prepare standalone financial statements, statutory reports, and consolidation workbooks, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments for review and submission.
- **Regulatory Alignment:**
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and ensure all reporting outputs reflect the latest compliance standards and legal frameworks.
- **Audit & Assurance Support:**
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies by providing required data, schedules, and clarifications to support smooth audit processes.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration:**
- Partner with finance, legal, and cross-functional teams to gather accurate financial data and deliver insightful reporting packs (monthly, quarterly, annual, and flash reports).
- **Performance Monitoring:**
- Track key reporting KPIs, identify operational gaps, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- **Process Improvement & Innovation:**
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize reporting processes, and support automation or efficiency projects within the statutory reporting function.
