Senior Accountant – Investment Banking & Fund Accounting

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, and fund-level accounting for our client in the investment banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in IFRS, financial analysis, and hands-on experience in NAV calculation, fund operations, and investor reporting .

Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting

• Manage daily accounting operations, general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in line with IFRS.
• Handle AP/AR, tax compliance, and month-end/quarter-end closing.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.

Fund Accounting

• Perform NAV calculations and maintain accurate fund books.
• Handle investment accounting: subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls & distributions.
• Prepare investor reports , capital account statements, and fund performance summaries.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and asset managers.
• Ensure timely valuation, expense accruals, and fee calculations for funds.

Financial Analysis & Leadership

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Supervise accounting staff and manage external audits.
• Oversee cash flow, banking operations, and fund allocations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA preferred .
• 10–15 years of experience, with mandatory fund accounting exposure .
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, NAV calculation, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
