Senior Accountant

Arabian Trading Agency is a leading distributor of Watches, Home Appliances and Consumer Electronics.

Founded in 1970, the company has strong roots in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and has expanded its distribution network across Middle East and Africa.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within the company.

· Oversee and manage the General Accounting functions, including, but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Taxes.

· Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements and Reports.

· Ensure that data entered by accounts team is correct

· Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

· Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.

· Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.

· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

· Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.

· Oversee receivables management to maintain optimal working capital.

· Ensure timely bank payments.

· Coordinate with banks for Facilities such as Overdraft and Trade Credit

· Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting activities.

· Work with Tax Agent for VAT Submission and Compliance

· Assist the Auditor for Corporate Tax calculation and submission

· Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits.

· Coordinate with Human Resources for payroll processing

· Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

· Maintain financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

· Comply with financial policies and regulations

· 5+ years of accounting experience.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

· CIMA/ACCA/CA qualification preferred

· In-depth knowledge of Focus ERP software.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Strong financial analysis skills.

· High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
