Workplace

• The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
• Employment is full-time.
• Work is performed in person.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare and issue sales and purchase invoices using Odoo.
• Record payments, receipts, expenses, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank, customer, and supplier accounts.
• Monitor outstanding customer payments and supplier balances.
• Prepare monthly accounting reports and financial statements.
• Handle VAT-related accounting and VAT reports.
• Maintain accounting documents and records and correct entries in Odoo when required.
• Assist with monthly and yearly closing.
• Coordinate with auditors and management when needed.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are accurate and properly recorded.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong practical experience with Odoo Accounting and Invoicing.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a trading or import/export company.
• Experience with Odoo Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting modules.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
