Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations and support accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
The role includes leadership responsibility for the accounting function.
Responsibilities
- Oversee AP, AR, GL, payroll, financial statements, cash flow, bank reconciliations, and treasury.
- Lead and supervise the accounting team and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the CFO.
- Manage GPA Fee and VAT filings, tax documentation, internal controls, and process improvements.
- Monitor cost performance, profitability, operational KPIs, and relationships with banks, auditors, partners, and internal departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of accounting experience, preferably in courier, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, GPA Fee regulations, audit processes, accounting principles, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Tally or other accounting and ERP systems.
- Proven experience preparing final accounts.

- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Employment and Pay
- The position is full-time.
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
