Accounts Executive

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely billing of international shipments.
• Prepare shipment invoices and perform international courier rate calculations.
• Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting operations.
• Work with high volumes of shipment and billing data while meeting strict deadlines.
• Coordinate finance activities and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Required qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience, with courier-industry experience mandated.
• Experience with courier shipment billing and invoicing.
• Strong knowledge of international shipment billing, rate calculations, receivables, payables, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic UAE accounting requirements.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large volumes of billing data.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, analysis, communication, and coordination.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is listed as preferred.
• Experience with Tally, ERP, or other accounting software is a plus.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000 per month.

Work location

• The role is performed in person.
