About the Role
Arabian Trading Agency seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and knowledge of Focus ERP.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage General Accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Taxes
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Statements and Reports
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision making
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation of accounts
- Monitor cash flow and oversee receivables management
- Coordinate with banks for facilities such as Overdraft and Trade Credit
- Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting activities
- Work with Tax Agent for VAT Submission and Compliance
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CIMA/ACCA/CA qualification preferred
- In depth knowledge of Focus ERP software
- Strong communication skills
- Strong financial analysis skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure that data entered by accounts team is correct.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision making.
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Oversee receivables management to maintain optimal working capital.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Coordinate with banks for Facilities such as Overdraft and Trade Credit.
- Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- CIMA/ACCA/CA qualification preferred.
- In depth knowledge of Focus ERP software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Compensation
- Pay: AED6,500.00 AED7,000.00 per month.
