Job Title: Senior Accountant (Limousine)

Reports To: Senior Accountant

Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the Finance Manager in budgeting, auditing, and strategic planning. The role requires strong experience in the limousine services company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
• Review and process subcontractor/ suppliers invoices, supplier payments, and retention releases in line with contractual terms.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all bank-related transactions.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, including compliance with VAT regulations and reporting.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
• Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cost allocations.
• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) payroll processing and monthly salary disbursement.
• Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, vendors, and government authorities.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT returns and adherence to UAE tax regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE limousine experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, contractual billing, retention accounting, and WPS payroll.
• Proficiency in ERP systems preferrable in Odoo. Also experience in Focus & Tally.
• Sound understanding of UAE VAT laws and financial compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
