**Pay:** 4,000.00 (AED) - 5,500.00 (AED) per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
• Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger, balance sheet, and profit & loss accounts
- Perform account reconciliations including bank, supplier, and customer accounts
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise invoice processing, payment schedules, and collections
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up for timely recovery
- Verify supplier invoices and ensure proper approvals
• VAT & Compliance (UAE Specific)
- Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and company financial policies
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax inspections
• Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide variance analysis and cost control recommendations
- Support management with financial reports for decision-making
• System & Process Improvement
- Maintain ERP/accounting software and ensure accurate data entry
- Improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA (preferred)
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
