Senior Accountant

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue project invoices, including those with advance payments, progress payments, and retentions.
• Monitor and track project-related expenses and payments.
• Maintain up-to-date **Statements of Account** for clients and suppliers.
• Coordinate with procurement to generate accurate **Purchase Orders**.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasting reports.
• Handle **payment follow-ups** and manage **cash collections**.
• Ensure full control over **inventory movement**, including documenting all incoming and outgoing materials and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assist in monthly reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Support financial documentation required for project handovers or certifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting within the joinery and fit-out industry.
• Understanding of project-based accounting, payment terms, and retention rules.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
