Role overview
Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including journals, AP/AR, reconciliations, and periodic statements.
Work must comply with approved financial policies, standards, and procedures.
Key accountabilities
- Handle AP/AR, invoices, purchase orders, vendor payments, receivables, fixed assets, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate project bonds, guarantees, and letters of credit; record project transactions and manage project accounts and costs.
- Prepare accruals, provisions, trial balances, financial reports, payroll accounting, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
Experience
- At least 8–10 years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, cash management, UAE VAT, and financial and management reporting.
- Renewable energy project experience is preferred.
Job-specific skills
- Microsoft 365 proficiency, with Excel expertise, is required.
- Requires accounting knowledge, Oracle ERP and financial software experience, and strong data management and analysis skills.
- Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and communication are expected.
