About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
with solid experience in
real estate development and construction
.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of
project-based accounting
,
escrow account management
, and
UAE financial compliance
, including
VAT
and
corporate tax
.
You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance while supporting management in financial planning and project reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle

- VAT filing
- , and ensure full compliance with
- UAE corporate tax regulations

- Manage and reconcile
- real estate escrow accounts
- in compliance with
RERA
- and local authority requirements.
- Track and monitor
- project costs

- subcontractor payments

- budget variances

- Support
- cash flow management
- ,
- budget preparation

- financial forecasting
- .
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners.
- Ensure all accounting records and documentation are maintained properly.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
awareness and compliance in all financial transactions (knowledge of AML regulations is an advantage).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
- **7–10 years of experience**
- in accounting, with at least
- 5 years in real estate development or construction
- in the UAE.
- Proven experience in

- project accounting

- Strong understanding of
Uae Vat

- Knowledge of

- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or ERP systems).
