Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will provide financial expertise, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.
About the Role
The Senior Accountant will supervise daily accounting activities, lead a small team, and ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
This position involves working closely with leadership and various departments, demanding a combination of technical expertise and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior accountants.
- Own, optimize, and maintain financial workflows using Odoo ERP.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Present financial insights effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or team leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is strictly required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is a strong advantage.
