Role Overview
The Senior Accountant oversees the clinic’s complete financial and operational accounting functions.
The clinic provides medical services and seeks a detail-oriented, proactive, experienced accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable operations.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts to monitor liquidity and cash flow.
- Manage cash flow timing, cheque issuances, payment schedules, and supplier settlements.
- Reconcile and streamline intercompany transactions with sister facilities.
- Supervise clinic cash collections, POS settlements, EMR revenue reconciliation, and outstanding balances.
- Manage TPA and medical insurance claims, receivables, rejections, and settlements.
- Manage UAE VAT reporting, input-output reconciliations, and Federal Tax Authority filings.
- Oversee monthly payroll, expense reimbursements, and petty cash administration.
- Drive month-end and year-end closing, budgeting support, financial reporting, and audit schedules.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of accounting experience with clinic or healthcare financial operations and UAE VAT compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and healthcare EMR/billing platforms.
- Knowledge of UAE medical insurance billing, TPA reconciliation workflows, and FTA tax regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is advantageous.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,500 to AED 5,000 per month.
