We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team.
Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, preferably within the security services, manpower supply, facilities management, or contracting sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee accounts receivable, client invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and expense controls.
- Review payroll processing, overtime calculations, employee benefits, and related accounting entries.
- Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare supporting schedules.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Support ERP/accounting system improvements and process automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred.
- Experience in security services, manpower supply, facilities management, or contracting industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll accounting, VAT compliance, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling large workforce payrolls.
- Knowledge of contract-based billing and manpower cost analysis.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar.
