Temporary Senior Accountant (1-Month Contract) – Transport Company (UAE)
Position: Senior Accountant (Temporary – 1 Month)
Location: UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years (preferably in transport/logistics sector)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 1-month temporary assignment in a transport company. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting financial reporting during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and filing requirements
- Manage payroll accounting and employee-related financial records
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures
- Coordinate with operations team for transport-related financial tracking (fuel, fleet expenses, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a transport or logistics company in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

- Duration: 1 Month (Temporary Assignment)
- Immediate joining preferred

Contract length: 1 month
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
